TPTS Travel was founded by a team of passionate Tanzanian mountaineers who grew up gazing at the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro from the streets of Arusha. Our founders began as porters and guides, working their way up the mountain and gaining invaluable experience with every ascent.

Today, we operate from our headquarters on Kaloleni Street in Arusha, just an hour’s drive from the mountain we love. Our team includes some of the most experienced certified mountain guides in Tanzania, many of whom have summited Kilimanjaro over 200 times.

We’ve helped over 2,500 climbers from more than 50 countries reach the Roof of Africa, maintaining a summit success rate of over 95%—well above the industry average. But success for us isn’t just about reaching the top; it’s about creating life-changing experiences while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of everyone on our team.
